the Parakeet's love

This is a true story! A very true story. Happened right in front of my eyes. Once upon a time, one day before the Valentines Day, there was a parrot, another parrot and one more parrot. Two of them were males and one was female. And in males, there was one good and one badd!! The good ones name was Mintu and the bad one was Braarr. Ok rather not bad but not so good either. The female was cute, sweet, shy and her name was Miyaa.. That should be a nice introduction…moving on then!!

It was the morning at the Sultanpur bird sanctuary, where on the branch of a tree were Mintu and Braarr..

Thats Mintu: The lover boy..

Thats Miyaa: Everybody loves her..
That's Braarr's: on the right, the mean guy..

Mintu: Go away Brarr, I like Miyaa more than, even, what you can think.. She’s mine.

Braarr: Really Mintu!! You want me go gift you Miyaa.. Hell No!! She’s mine, all mine.. I don’t like her, but I still want her. I will have her and leave her..

Miyaa was watching keenly from distance..

Mintu was angry… He unleashed his fury, against and arrogant and a characterless Braarr. What happened next was very brutal and graphic.. I cant show you, but what I can tell you is, Braarr was shit scared of what he just experienced: the Mintu’s fury.. a graphic image follows and is that of Braarr.. It dint take him much time to disappear. He literally ran for his life and never turned back.

A little distance away was Miyaa, who saw the whole episode, and seemed mightily impressed with Mintu..

Miyaa: hey Mintu.. I was scared to see you that angry. I have never ever seen you that angry before. Sooooo.. Why did you did all that?

Mintu: I love you Miyaa.. More than even what you could imagine. And Braar was talking bad about you, so I had to knock is teeth off!!

Miyaa: Really. But how do I know that you really love me, and would always keep me happy.
Mintu: trust me Miyaa, I would, all my life.
Miyaa: I have hear that before.

Miyaa: At the beginning you guys sound as if you are the best person in this world for me.. But after a while, you get so bored of us and want to go away..

Mintu: (a bit irritated) But Miyaa, all guys are not the same. Certainly I am not.
Mintu: (Calmed and trying to convince) Miyaa, I will always keep you happy I promise and never ever leave you. I will love you always!!
Miyaa: Ok tell me, why should I love you.
Mintu: Because, I will always love you, keep you happy and make you smile
Mintu: I would take care of our house, and babies when we have them
Mintu: I would always get nice food for you, guava, chilly’s and if you feel like eating non-veg, I would get you some worms.
Mintu: I would always take you shopping and would take you on long fly’s in the air, under the open sky. And I promise to never bring tears your eyes. I would always protect you from the evil birds!!

And talking of danger, it was about looming over their head… the deadly Rudraaksh was roaming around, looking for his preyy!!

Mintu: Miyaa, please go inside, there comes Rudraaksh, in hunt of his prey!! Go hide your self till I distract him off!!

Miyaa, hesitantly goes inside her tree hole and Mintu, goes to distract Rudraaksh.

Rudraaksh: Hey Mintu, wat’s up buddy!!! How are you doing today? Don’t see your babe around today..

Yeah!!! Rudraaksh is no bad, mean, ugly fellow.. He’s just a gentle giant; sweet and kind with a heart of gold. And actually Mintu’s friend. Obviously Mintu wants to impress Miyaa, so he made Rudraaksh sound scary and threat to her life, and he would fight him off for her… Aaahaa!! Now you know, Mintu aint dumb, he’s a smart chap!
Mintu: Hey buddy.. I am good, I need you to do me a favor and go away, I am trying to impress Miyaa.

Rudraaksh: No problem buddy. Good luck with your Miyaa!! Bye..

And off goes Rudraaksh… Mintu now al set to impress Miyaa..

Mintu: Come out baby, he’s gone. You can come out now.

Not that Miyaa, was not impressed of Mintu. She was not only impressed but was massively in love with this handsome Parakeet.

Miyaa: Mintu you are so strong and brave, and I have no doubt that you are my man!!

Miyaa: And you would always love me and keep me happy and protect me from every evil.

Miyaa: Lets go home baby, I have cooked nice food for you.
Mintu: (to himself, proud and slightly arrogant) Yeah!! I did it.. She loves me.. Who's the man now...Yeaaaahhhh!!!
Miyaa: Come on home now baby.. I am waiting for you...

And they happily lived together ever after.. For ever…

Well yeah I know, you are thinking of my first line.. “The true story and all.” Yes mostly it is true, accept that Rudraaksh and Mintu being a friend story. That gigantic bird was just flying by. But Mintu did fight with Braarr and scare him off!!
